This notice explains how Standab AB ("Standab", "we") handles personal data when you visit standab.com, contact us, or interact with us in relation to deployments, pilots, partnerships, or business discussions. It is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Swedish data-protection law.

Standab is the data controller for personal data we handle through this website and through direct communication with cities, operators, partners, and other counterparties.
2. What we collect
We collect only the data we need to respond to inquiries, manage deployments and partnerships, and keep the website running.
Information you provide
- Name, organisation, role, email, city, and the content of any message you send through our contact form or by email.
- Information shared during meetings, site assessments, pilot discussions, and contract negotiations.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical information about your visit (IP address, browser type, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps), used to keep the site working and to understand aggregate usage.
3. How we use it
We use personal data to:
- Respond to inquiries and route them to the right person at Standab.
- Operate, secure, and improve the website.
- Send relevant communication related to an ongoing inquiry, pilot, partnership, deployment, or business relationship.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making with legal effect.
4. Legal basis
We process personal data on one of the following legal bases under GDPR Article 6:
- Legitimate interest — to respond to inquiries, manage business relationships, and operate the website securely.
- Contract — to prepare and carry out pilot agreements, deployment contracts, supplier agreements, and other contracts entered into with Standab.
- Legal obligation — to meet Swedish accounting, tax, and contract record-keeping requirements.
- Consent — where we have asked for it.
5. Sharing and transfers
We share personal data only with parties who support our work:
- Hosting, form-handling, and email providers acting as data processors under written agreements.
- Professional advisors (for example, legal and accounting) where relevant to a specific matter.
- Public authorities where required by law.
Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or another approved transfer mechanism.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by Swedish law. Inquiry-related correspondence is normally kept for up to 24 months after the last contact, unless an active relationship requires us to keep it longer.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request rectification of inaccurate data.
- Request erasure where the legal basis no longer applies.
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Data portability where applicable.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@standab.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY).
8. Cookies
This website uses only the cookies needed for the site to function. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. If we introduce non-essential cookies in the future, they will be set only with your consent, and this notice will be updated to reflect that change.
